I remember looking at this website a couple of years ago. It put me off reading the reviews for this company at the time. Social media jobs are really hard to get into because of the mass appeal to many people. There is so much competition for this kind of thing and a lot of applying for jobs just like you would apply for any other job. People think that doing this kind of work will be just like messing around on Facebook and in fact that’s what this site wants you to believe!

The devil is in the details and you should always read the disclaimers as you suggested.
I did social media campaigning for some of my websites I worked on, but I would not sign up for a program that makes false promises, because as you said, this is a difficult job and you will have to work really hard to make it work. Plus, you need experience and much know-how about how Google’s algorithms works and how much exposure each social media platform can be expected to generate. Predicting those numbers is next to impossible.

it is crazy, that people need to create resume for attracting other clients. You need to pretend being as freelancer and be responsible for social media accounts.
Spending a lot time for convincing clients to trust their accounts, such as Twitter or Facebook and more, after it have a legal agreement with client is a risky, time consuming thing.
That is more in this scammy deal, that you need to pay fee.
I guess that here a lot more legal and transparent business.

I am with Wendy on this one. I hate how they purposely use the word “job” when in fact it is not a job! There can be good money in social media, but you better know what you’re doing and you better know how to attract clients.
You are not simply going to tap into a large data base of companies who are just waiting to throw big money at you to play on their Facebook accounts all day. yet that is how programs like Paid Social Media Jobs makes it sound.
People who are highly paid social media consultants tend to already have successful businesses of their own. That’s how they became experts. Not from buying a course that uses fake endorsements from T.V. networks.

It’s kind of like any sales organization, you have to hire 100 salespeople to find 10 good ones. The biggest thing that I dislike about these work from home opportunities is that they refer them as a job. This is very misleading to the average person who is looking for a legitimate job. They don’t realize how much work and how many hours you really need to work in order to make money.
